How do i book?
Simply select 'Booking' from the service menu and read all instructions before submitting a question.

Not necessarily... However, Shanita's books are filled to capacity with current clientele. The only way to book with Shanita is to sign up for the newsletters and to wait for a cancellation or new opening. Shanita's books are NO LONGER opened online.
Kwanza's books are now available for online booking.
WHAT IS YOUR DEPOSIT/CANCELLATION POLICY?
Please see the cancellation policy page on this website for a detailed explanation of my policy. Due to advance booking, the cancellation policy is strictly enforced to prevent loss to the salon and you!
What is your preferred method of contact?
PHONE CALLS AND EMAILS. PLEASE DO NOT TEXT ME UNLESS YOU ARE RUNNING LATE. As a person who works with my hands, texting holds me up. Period. There is ONE message box (email- or use site contact). If I don't answer, I could be coloring, shampooing, etc. Please try your call again or send an email.
What is the shipping/return policy?
Shipping: 3-7 business days processing time
Returns: Hair products are final sale.
HAIR EXTENSIONS- Exchange per approval ONLY- no refunds. Send a picture of your extensions along with your reason for the exchange to email@example.com.
If your exchange is approved, you will be provided a return address. You are responsible for shipment, both ways.
DO NOT ship back to the salon. We are not responsible for any packages that are not pre-approved to be returned.
Please note: RAW HAIR is final sale. Each bundle up for sale has pictures and videos of each. If you have questions BEFORE purchasing, please email- firstname.lastname@example.org. Please make sure you double check your selections before paying.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Shanita does not accept walk-in appointments. I know, sad.
However, walk-in clients are welcomed to start with, Kwanza! Kwanza's hours are varied, so be sure to text her if you'd like a same day appointment: (757)-202-1032.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
Cash is KING! However, HH accepts Navy Federal transfers, Apple Pay and Cash App ($humblehair) at no additional costs. All major credit cards are accepted with a 3% service charge fee.
How do i pay my deposit?
If booking online, you will be prompted to pay at booking with a major credit card. If booking from the chair, please see the above payment options. Your deposit is due on the last Monday of the month before 5pm!
DO YOU DO QUICK WEAVES?
Nope. Humble Hair is a (mostly) GLUE FREE zone! If you want a couple pieces glued in, and we feel that it will not harm your hair or scalp, then we'll allow it :-/ lol
Do you install silk base closures?
Yes. However, I recommend using lace based closures because they blend better with the hairline. Silk based closures look more like a scalp on top, however, the front line is often hard to blend. Some companies offer a silk/lace combo. Those too, are sometimes noticeable.
DO YOU INSTALL FRONTALS AND LACE WIGS?
Right now, the answer is no. But, honestly I hate them so please don't hold your breath. Bloop, lol!
